A Word from Linda Bartlett -- What is Health Quest?
The poet Carl Sandburg once said, "Time is the coin of our lives. We must take care how we spend it." How have you spent your life this past week? Have you been suffering from a migraine headache or an upset stomach? Have you been anxious about an upcoming project at work or school? Does there not seem to be enough time in the day to get things done or to do anything fun? Is an argument with a friend, relative, or rival keeping you up at night? Are you happy? Are you healthy? Are you stressed?
Many of us are on a personal quest for a happier, healthier, and more balanced life. Health Quest is an opportunity for students and teachers to meet healthcare professionals and learn from them knowledge, strategies, and techniques for dealing with stress and living fully.
Thanks to the sponsors of the Artist in Residence grant, our program participants have this on-line opportunity to share experiences and insights on their quest for health and wellness. Please join us on our journey!
